Cask, handpump, The Turf Tavern, Oxford in company of Andy (Puzzl) and Pearl 25-05-10 Dark amber in colour with fast receding off-white head. A very ordinary beer, chewy, malty and fruity with toffee showing also. Fine but no great shakes. A5 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Guest cask at the Pembury Tavern, London, on 18th September 2009. Copper coloured with thin, but lasting, white head. Malt and caramel notes and some delicate spice in the main kick(mainly mace and nutmeg); some floral hop and citrus. An interesting mouthfeel and finish in which all seems to evaporate rapidly leaving the mouth quite dry. I was not too keen on this aspect of the beer.

Cask @ 3 Judges. Clear amber colour, medium off-white head. Aroma is malty with a hint of fruits. Flavour has lots of biscuit malts and some caramel. Dry, but no bitterness.
