Brewed for our first anniversary. Shakedown Scotch Ale was one of the first beers we brewed when we opened, so we thought it fitting to brew and bottle a barrel aged version for the occasion.

22oz bottle I brought back from the brewery, pours a clear, cream soda brown with a ring of white head. Nose has cream soda, candi sugar, malt. Flavors are sweet, malt, cola, cream soda, butterscotch. Off dry finish.

Decent scotch ale. Some citrus and a little peat malt like a beer in the swamp. Bottle. Tangy finish.
