Tap, Ocean Beach. Hazy coppery, thin beige head, nonlasting. Moderate caramel and biscuits aroma, some soy sauce and dry fruits. Gentle sweetness, biscuity, medium bitterness. Slightly roasty feel. Lighter body, herbal aftertaste.

Tap at the Cask, Pimlico - 14/12/12. Pours a hazy dark chestnut brown with a thin off white head which escapes to the edge leaving a film. Nose is pine, hops, grapefuit, light chlorine notes. Taste follows, caramel malt, sweet candied sugars, orange. Medium to full in body, soft carbonation - a little over spritzy for my liking. Decent enough none the less.

31/10/2012 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Rossiccia, leggermente torbida, bella schiuma biancastra, abbondante e persistente. Al naso una esplosione di luppoli, malti, sentori di tostato, detersivo per piatti. In bocca malto, caramello, quindi vira sullβamaro spinto, ancora detersivo per piatti, limone, pompelmo. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Confusionaria, ma discreta.

On tap at Sour & Bitter. Clear dark amber beer, small tan head. Crispy minerally palate. Nice toffee malt base with good bitterish hops on top. Bitter pine with a little citrus. Carbonated bite in the finish.

From tap at Sour&Bitter in Copenhagen. Brown in the glass, almost black. Small head. Strong-malty aroma. Starts mild-malty, gets stronger, more smokey. Finish dry-malty, some light fruity notes. More stout-like. Good!

[5/10/12] Draught sample at Sour & Bitter. Clear dark brown with a creamy beige head. Roasted grains aroma with a bit of coffee. Roasty, dry-ish flavor, somewhat coffee-ish, with a moderately bitter finish. Medium to full-bodied. Nice.

Sample @ the Sour & Bitter event in Copenhagen. Pours clear amber with a creamy offwhite head that leaves some lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet with caramel, orang peal, dark bread, pine, wood, vanilla, lemon zest and very subtle hints of sulphur. Taste is sweet and bitter with orange peal, pine, grass, bread, plums, wood and grapefruit juice. Mouthfeel is round, oily bitter and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with bread, pine, grass and grapefruit juice.

Deep rich red, light bodied lots of hops, but well balanced. A weak verision of arrogant bastard.
