32oz crowler pours a murky, cola brown with some frothy, khaki head. Nose has... not too much happening, mild nuts, malt, a bit earthy. Flavor is better, malt, brown sugar, sweet black tea, a little rootbeer. Finishes dry and tannic.

Subtle balance and well done. Roast and a touch of citrus. Some caramel. Pours black with good head and lacing. Bittersweet end.

On draft at the brewery. Pours an opaque cola with a tan head. Aromas are molasses and leather. Bitter roast flavors with some toasted grain. Bitter, but soft finish.
