Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 25 October. Poured a clear, light golden colour with a rocky white head and good lacing. Aroma is mild citrus hop, gooseberry and candy sugar. Tropical fruit flavours with some orange peal and straw. Finish was caramel, syrupy fruit and chewy malt. Better than I had anticipated; pretty decent golden.

Cask at the Catherine Wheel (JDW), Henley. Pale straw with a tight white head; a definite aroma of blackcurrant; soft and fruity taste with a touch of spice and a gentle bitterness to follow. A rather good Golden Ale.
