Pours black, no real head. Scent is intense, strawberry and chocolate indeed. Very pastry-heavy. Taste is full, roasty, intense chocolate and strawberry, very pastry heavy though. Sweet, fairly thick, not the most balance. Bit over the top chemical to me.

Very nice stuff here. Strawberry is nice and subtle – you wouldn’t necessarily know what it was without the menu. Just a little fruit pique there. Lots of roast and dark milk chocolate. Like a Mars bar strawberry milkshake, with the caramel and everything. Slick mouthfeel. Bittersweet finish. Tap at brewery.

Maybe the end of the keg but the strawberry was slightly hinted on the nose and finish, medium body, nice sipper. Never tried this in botte but guess I dodged a bullet.
