Ridiculously hazy golden, bright orange, super pale straw and raw honey coloured body with some faint tints of pure white - very nice, all with a relatively fast-dying two to three centimetre tall off-white, large-bubbled, soapy head. Aroma of grass, grapefruits, tangerines, flower, a strong amount of pepper and dry notes with a deep malt nose along with some sweet and fruity notes at the very end. Medium to Full-bodied; Very rich malt and resinous bite with some alcohol noticeable, but quickly covered up by the sweetness, body (malt) and very rich hops that show the pepper, orange, floral and grassy notes with a little bitterness near the end. Aftertaste shows a very nice balance of malt and hops with some strong residual sugars showing fruit and resin, with some sticky syrup noticeable, but a faint hit of alcohol and some pleasant soft bitterness at the absolute end, but the rich malts are nice, too! Overall, a very nice, complex, yet somehow easy-drinking pure new school IPA with some faint bitterness, but rich qualities throughout and light-ish alcohol makes this worth trying to find if you are in the area - and if you can find it, drink it fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 28-August-2020 for US$5,66 sampled at my house here in Washington on 07-September-2020, Labor Day here in the USA.

It's ok but a little too much sugary candied apple for me. Some mango. Pours like mango juice. Some booze in finish, green onion. Very sweet. Not my thing. Tap at brewery.
