This cask conditioned ale follows in the modern tradition of blonde, strongly hopped beers. It’s a classic blonde beer, which is clean and crisp. The nose is loaded with a floral hop aroma, while the pale malt flavour is overtaken by a pleasing dry and bitter finish.

Cask @ South Western Arms, Southamton. Hazy yellow body with a small off-white head. Light in aroma, some citric fruit, flower and grass. Light and quite refreshing in flavor, mils, soft pale malt, some citric fruit and grassy bitterness. Medium body and light in aftertaste. All in all not bad for a golden ale, at least more flavor and bitterness than expected.

500ml bottle into a UK pint sleeve at home on 30th Oct 2015. Slight haze to the blonde body, on top a white, thin head. Really floral in nature, both the nose and taste are dominated by a flowery perfume like feel, caramel notes burst through, giving it a sweet initial hint. The finish is more bitter and dry than the start, overall not bad at all: different and interesting blend throughout.

Bottle from Tesco Winchester. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is light, fresh, grassy hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light, slightly watery hop bitter, light citrus palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. Served cool. Easy drinking and quite refreshing.
