TURQUESA is our new Blue Carbon beer, where we donate 20 cents on each can to a project that works for a better, cleaner sea. In this case we got together with some friends that wanted to support the cause too Yakima Chief, Molina, Weyermann_malts and Fermentis

TURQUESA is a West Coast IPA, our first time using Citra YCH702, Mosaic, Simcoe & Citra t90. With the US05 by fermentis yeast, we get a clean, crisp westie where all the hops shine.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 21A). Can 44 cl - Batch 021/24 (BB 18/09/24) AROMA: medium-high hop aroma with notes of grapefruit, slight lime. medium-low neutral malt background and slightly sweet. APPEARANCE: light yellow color and cristal clear. medium-low to low white head with medium-low to low retention. TASTE: medium-high hop flavor with notes similar to the aroma (grapefruit) and slight pine. medium neutral-sweet malt background. balanced medium-high bitterness with a semi-dry finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a nice IPA american style.
