Enjoyed while in the Dallas area on business. Aroma faint, malt if anything at all. Appearance cloudy amber with a thin head. Taste mostly malt, hint of caramel, somewhat smooth, just decent. Not very memorable.

Bottle thanks to Cavie! Pours clear amber with an off-white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has some grassy hops with rye and a hint of a backing citrus. Flavor has more hop spiciness with a nice combination of citrus and pine which is backed nicely by the rye.

bottle, pours a light amber with a medium off white head. Pale malt and hop aroma. Some grapefruit too. Strong rye flavor with a creamy feel that ends with a dry bitter hop wallop. Nice!

Another interesting Texas beer from ericandersnavy. Pours copper with a slight white head. Strange and different malt aroma - suggests ryecrisp. Medium plus body with mild carbonation. Flavor is pretty malty, with that strong flavor which seems to be rye. There’s some floral hop to help the balance, but it seems more malty than bitter. Pretty tasty though. Don’t think I’ve tasted anything like this before.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of KAggie97. Slightly hazy amber golden with a very lively, tall and rough, off-white head leaving some lacework. Aroma primarily of yeast. Medium body with lightly fruity notes and plenty of yeast. Rather bitter finish. Well, if it wasn’t for the late hoppiness you could’ve mistaken this for a Dunkelweizen! Odd....040408
