Cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a small cream head. The aroma is fruity with some malt characteristics. In the mouth it is smooth and sweet with dark fruits and roasted malts plus hints of chocolate and carmel. Fruits linger in the slightly dry finish. This is decent enough.

Delt med Rune. Ultradyprød/svart. Lavt tett skum med litt farge. Aroma av lakris & nøtter. Smaken lett kirsebær. Uvanlig porter - men bra.

10/1/2020. Cask at the Cricketers, Ipswich. Pours dark ruby brown with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma of liquorice, dried fruits, cooking chocolate, menthol cough sweets and moderate roasted malt. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Increasing medical bitterness to finish. Looked good but not a huge fan.

Bottle from Secretts of Milford. Low key aroma - a blend of malty chocolate and liquorice. Dark cola brown. Beige starts of frothy before disappaiting. Medium bitter. Dark coffee and liquorice lifted by some creamy chocolate. Light-medium bodied. Flat carbonation, a slight fizz in the tail end. Liken the aroma, whilst long, the finish is low key. Decent enough but underpowered.
