330ml bottle. Clear, darkest brwon colour with ruby shimmer and small, frothy, haf-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly bready and grainy, minimally roasty, malty aroma, hints of brown bread crust, a touch of pumpernickel and cocoa. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty and slightly toasty, minimally bready, dark malty, diluted hints of dark caramel, pumpernickel, minimally metallic, hoppy overtones, a sugary touch throughout.
Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Light, watery, minimally sugary and metallic - not really convincing.

Rosen Schwarze Rose, Fläschchen von Markgrafen, Wandlitz. - Tiefdunkles Kastanienrotbraun, klar. (25.1.2022.)

bottle, courtesy of pivnizub. Deep brown, almost black, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts dominates. Light- to medium-bodied, malty with loads of roasty flavours, caramel, shy coffee, chocolate... Dark delight, not too dry, not too sweet - almost perfectly balanced.
