Our bock is the strongest beer we produce. Still in accordance to the German purity laws – no freezing, distilling or other cheats were used to produce the complex beer. The bock type of beer was traditionally brewed under the lent by the Bavarian monks because of its richness in taste and alcohol.
Krenkerup Doppel Bock is twice as rich and will ensure you to keep warmth in the cold winter months. A beer which should be enjoyed with respect and with time to spare.
It has a distinct malt sweetness with a full body and packs a punch. This Bock type of beer sits in our storage tanks for more than 10 weeks to make sure it has matured fully and has just the right balance. With 8,3 % alcohol and a very high drinkability, it commands a certain respect.

Flavour light heavy sweet and mild malt bitter, roasted malt, toffee, candy sugar, alcohol. Full-bodied, oily texture, soft carbonanation, mild malty sweetbitter aftertaste, caramel, alcohol, complex, tasty, overall very good.

500ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye. An off-white head to an amber coloured body with a slight haze. Spotty lacing. Inviting mid-sweet aromas of apple skins and nuts. Toffee flavours with moments of mid-sweet apples, nuts and a drop of dried fruits. Almond and malty sweetness to the ending. Fine depth. Pretty nice. (Rating session with djoeye and Finn, PivotekaH7, Tromsø 19.02.2018).

0,5 l bottle bought at a Kvickly supermarket in Nykøbing. A very dark copper in the glass, more than a one finger light tanned head. Looking good. Malty nose, little bit alcoholic. Taste starts smooth, malty, later more roasted, overripe fruits with a nice alcholic sharpness. Low bitterness. Nice one!

50 cl bottle. Slightly hazy amber colour with a golden tint and a thin, white head. Fruity aroma with rich caramel malts, nuts, bread, ripe fruits - red and dried. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry and fruity with dark, dried fruits and rich caramel malts. Nice Bock in a traditional German style.
