A ‘lager’ type beer, produced from the best malts and hops of cheque origin, fermented and matured at low temperatures. The specific conditions and the rigorous fabrication control give it particular/distinct characteristics such as a pale golden colour, a clean flavour, smooth and aromatic, a light body and a pleasant aroma of hop blossom. Its qualities (light, refreshing and pleasant) make it refreshingly ideal, quenching your thirst, enjoy drinking, making a great accompaniment for all sorts of dishes such as fish and shellfish, meat, poultry, pasta amongst others.

Van de tap in Funchal, twee stuks. Na een mooie wandeling vanaf Monte. Helder geel, weinig schuim. Lekker zoetje in geur en smaak.

Many thanks for this beer from Madeira Island to Jacek Wigier (wineofdreams@gmail.com). Piana spora srednio trwala, Typowy lager miedzynarodowy ale lekko sie wyroznia, nie byl az taki fatalny jak sadzilem. Byl w swiecie lagerow nawet wyrazisty w smaku.

19/2/2019. Gift brought back from Portugal by a friend. Pours golden with a foamy white head. Aroma of grain, sweet corn, hops and grass. Moderate body, slight oily and thin texture, average pale lager carbonation. Not very good really.

Labeled 5,1%. Pours clear golden and fizzing with a diminishing, foamy, white head. The aroma contains grain, 'wet hay', hops and malt. It tastes light sweet and light to medium grainy bitter, with rather short and grainy finish. Light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Just a tad better than the Cerveja Super Bock.

Bottle in Lisboa. It pours clear golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is toasty grain, touch of baked beans, grass and metal. The taste is crisp, dry, toasty grain, lemon rind, grass, touch of metal and earth with a drying finish. Light - medium body and moderate carbonation. Fair enough Euro lager.

From old tasting notes. Pale yellow gold color. Sulphury malt nose. Tart bitter malt/hop flavor is unpleasant and astringent. Lacks balance or complexity.
