It is a drinkable beer but the taste is really sweet, caramel and there is something chemical, unpleasant, malty, nice copper color, buying it at Aligro, a long time ago, tasting it at le Mont during a barbecue party with Sandro and family.

Fles 33cl in Tarrafal. Caramel, rood fruittonen, zoetig, maltig, toffee, beetje melasse. (3-11-2025).

33 cl bottle. Another chance to bash another poor Portuguese beer. Plain malt and caramel aroma. Amber colour. Medium head. No lacing. Average retention
Too sweet and the alcohol is noticeable.And please change the style this is by no means a Dunkel!

Cerveja algo forte mas que no entanto se bebe bastante bem. Cor de caramelo com algo de torrado e doce.
Bottled in guimaraes. Poured a deep brown. Very sweet and malty. Too much so.

Old rating from 2017 - 330ml bottle brought back from Maderia. Pours brown with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of pine, brown bread, citrus, toffee, caramel, spice & roasted malt. Moderate body. Sweet light bitter finish

33 cl bottle. Clear amber golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, grasses, red berries, and grasses. The taste is light sweet. Medium body. Drying fruity finish. Fine, I see some style confusion?

Bottle from a supermarket in Ericeira. Sweetish malty aroma with caramel, notes of toffee. Bit toasty. Moderate to medium sweet with fairly low bitterness. Body is medium. Harmless dark lager, malt aroma is on the dull side.
Bottle from wee local shop in Alfama, Lisbon. Appearance - amber and still fairly clear. Foamy white head. Nose - toffee, brown bread and just a hint of molasses. Taste - yes toffee and brown bread again. Palate - medium bodied, chewy sweet texture, light roasty finish. Overall - a decent example of the style.
