A bohém Sagres. Talán a legjobb portugál sör, melyet megkóstoltam, egy kicsit karamellás.

Bottle. Bubbly brown pour with thin fast dissipating head. Sweet malt aroma. Sweet body a bit too sweet. A bit of bitterness would have been welcome.

A reddish copper beer with a thin light moka head. In aroma, a sulfury caramel malt, mercaptoethanol, light cinnamon notes. In mouth, a boring and watery lager like taste, with light grains, fruity esters, caramel, faint german hops, plain boring. 12 ounce bottle from MLCC Grant Park.

Medium offwhite head. Reddish brown body with light carbonation. Mealy caramelly earthy aroma with toffee notes. Dry-sweetish mealy caramelly earthy taste with sugary notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry roasty caramelly grassy aftertaste with oily notes. Not bad. (0.33l bottle shared by KnutAlbert.)

On tap in Lisbon, February 2011. Brownish with a small white head. Weak aroma and taste, some bread, light malt and caramel. Thin mouth feel and a short aftertaste with notes of alcohol and some smoke. Not a good beer.

(Bottle at Chris & Ruth, thanks) This was a very sweet brew. It was flawless as a macro brew should. It also lacked character. It contained caramell, molasses, malts etc. No surprises there. Quite boring.
