Cask@Market Porter, London. Deep brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, mild roasst, caramel, dark dry fruits as well as some raisins. Flavour is the same in a pleasant balance. Rather bodied compared to the abv.

Cask (gravity) @ The 16th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2010, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, open, good lacing, mostly diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate malt, raisin, dark berry notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100430]

Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol 08/01/09. Fruity, some chocolate and a short, bitter, drinkable finish. Good.

[Cask at Reading beer festival] Black, loose red-tan head. Smooth and easy drinking with lots of malty dark fruits & a smidgeon of chocolate. Decent mild.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 09. Some dark fruits. It’s an ok mild, not too hoppy as you’d expect. Decent dark fruits. OK mild. bit of blackcurrant.
