Cask stillage at the Foots Cray Rugby Club Beer Festival, 2015. Dark amber pour with a white head. A splash of citrus in the aroma, some dark fruit, chives. Malt laden flavours, bit of orchard fruit in there. Good bitter kick. Bitter finish. Quite tasty.

Small creamy offwhite head. Slightly hazy amber body. Faint milky caramelly aroma with spicy wooden notes. Dry-sweetish milky grainy caramelly taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish wooden strawy caramel aftertaste with rye crisp bread and spice notes. Nice, lovely vividness to the straw/grain taste. Highly drinkable, too. (0.25l cask, The Speaker, Westminster, London.)

Handpump at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxon 15.04.11 with Peter (ex Pitstop brewer) and owner of this new pub Pours dark amber with a white head, in fact this looks marvellous. As the description states this has quite an old fashioned taste about this however its very flavoursome in a very earthy and rustic way. I enjoyed this very much. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4
