On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - deep amber going into honey. Nose - honey and biscuit. Hobnobs perhaps. Taste - weird mountain herb medicinal thing in the forefront. It gives way slightly to a caramel biscuit note which struggles to assert itself. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - interesting beer that grows on you somewhat.

Cask at the Guildford. Pours clear dark amber with a thin off-white head. Aromas of light chocolate, light roasted malt, light citrus. Taste is sweety, with a herbal bitterness, more chocolate. Finishes a bit thin, but ok.

Cask at The St Albans Beer Festival 2013. Poured a hazy copper colour with thin halo of off white head. Sulphureous aroma with some earth and caramel. Malty flavours with some straw and dough. Stale malts in the palate with wet grass and some cereal. Not too nice.

Cask at London Brewers Showcase. Pours an opaque, ruby-black ih a bubbly head. Malty, fruit aroma. Quite a fruity flavor, too, and lightly sweet. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. There are some mild spices and dark malts in the finish. A tad thin overall.
