Black with no head. Aroma has a touch of coconut and a lot of wood. Taste is very dry and woody. Boozy too. Lacking some complexity.

14/2/20: I don't get the rating on this, it's pretty bad. A good example of showing that just shoving things in a wet barrel does not make it better. Thin, and super alcoholic. Some bitterness, but not much else besides bourbon. A hot mess. Pity.
7/10/22: Blackish brown, fine light brown head. Smell is bourbon, green apple, almost hints towards smoky. Thin body, still quite boozy but not as much as fresh. Taste is mostly barrel, together with some roast. Licorice. Light bitter. Not as bad as I remember.

Bottle at home from DeBierkonig, 9th April 2020. Pours black and viscous, but not overly for the ABV. Aroma is liquorice, tar, whiskey. Taste is boozy, liquorice, tar, whiskey, barrel, wood, a little heat. Overall it’s a little harsh, but a good sipper.

Bottle. Black. Malt, roast, vanilla, licorice and bourbon in the aroma, carbonation is soft. Sweet. Berries. Dominating bourbon, vanilla. Not perfect, but quite likeable.

Bottle picked up from Het Uiltje, Brewery and Taprooot, Haarlem, Netherlands and consumed at home Friday 2nd November 2018 in the company of Isobel. Pours black with a slim beige head. The bourbon is very apparent on the nose, but I also get some Bertie Bassett's. Thick in the mouth, boozy (but ok for being a bit hitter) warm, liquorice shows, some chocolate, bourbon, alcohol. It's good but 5:30pm on a Friday night? A8 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.9

Tap @ Jabeerwocky, Warsaw. Dark brown pour almost black. Some brown foam there. Nose has some booze, aquavit level, liquid chocolate. Taste is boozy, quite so. Barrel vanilla and spices coming out more in the finish. Coconut. Quite intense, maybe a bit overdone, super boozy though. Light chocolate bitterness in the finish.
