cask - Pours amber with an off-white head, lingering head. It has a sweet malty aroma and tastes like a well-balanced bitter that finishes with the usual distinctively English hops. Nothing outstanding, but goes down well.

Cask at the Penny Black, Bicester, 15-04-06, served a bit on the chilly side for my liking, malty and in truth little bit sweet, some hops and decent bitterness, not bad but nothing special.

Cask. Fresh, fruity malt aroma. Brown colour. Very malty flavour, a little nuttiness. Nice mild sourness in aftertaste.
