New Beer Distributors, NY 11.2oz ($3.80): Pours a brownish red color with a proper looking head. Aroma is actually quite nice, very sweet and fruity, with some nice yeasts and all that. However, the taste is lacking. It is sweet, but not excessively so. Has a kinda flat spiciness going throughout. Alcohol is sufficiently well covered. Good, but not great and the aroma makes you think that you will be getting a different beer.

Bottle 750ml. [ Vintage BBF 0910 ]. Clear medium to dark amber yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate to light heavy yeasty, overripped fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, overriped fruit, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101022]

Bottled@fonefan, Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is fruits, wooden earth and some spices, alcohol and malts. Pleasant. Flavour is quite simiilar, rather sweet, but still

Bottle. Pours a clear orangish amber with an off-white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma has sweet notes with candy sugar and caramel clearly present. Also a bit of underlying nutmeg. Flavor is sweet as well with undertones of nutmeg and alcohol.

Huge, fine-yellowish head over deep orange beer, hazy. Dry, spicy, white candi sugar. Bit flowery, and alcohol lurking. Very dry, spicy taste, bit of liquorice. Vague celeri, or other vegetable - even cilandro. Again, suspicion of white candi sugar. Warming up, almonds, and, strangely enough, some hops coming up. Alcoholwarming, meidum bodied, slick, quite carbonated. Good beer, but nothing original to it.

Bottle pours out a cloudy amber topped with a foam head almost 1 mile tall. A nice tast of sweet fruit and some spice. Not to bad. Thanks Jake for letting me have some.

Bottle: Murky reddish brown with a huge beige head. Aroma is fruity and warming. The 8% ABD is easily noticable tonight. Sweet fruity and malty notes are second. Tastes muddled with bready malts, yeast, dark fruit, and more warming. It was good, but for whatever reason, I just couldn’t really get into this brew. Seemingly average to me at this point.

Bottle. Rich caramel amber with a big light beige head. Malty, caramel aroma with yeast and spice and slight fruitiness. Caramel malt flavor with yeast, spice, and light citrus. Medium body - high carbonation. Lingering toffee, spice, light citrus. Nice balance and complexity. More peppery phenolic as it warms.

The beer pours with a large head but it quickly fades into an surface covering lacing first but eventually into a hairline thick ring. It’s got a very hazy, orange/copper body with a medium clarity. Aroma first starts with nice sweet banana esters and then there are faint granny smith apple skins. Light sweet grainy cereal there as well. Taste is a sort of reduced version of the aroma light cereal, banana, apple skin. Medium body with a strong carbonation. Nothing "special" except an easy drinking yet full beer.
