this was a sweet, cloying malt bomb! Loads of dark fruits, plums, cherries, and dark burnt brown sugar. The flavor was just crazy sweet, cloyingly sweet. Not very enjoyable, not sure i could drink a whole bottle.

Bottle. Pours reddish brown. Tan head. Nose and taste of dark fruits, candi sugar, fig, raisin and toffee. A bit cloying at times. Decent.

RBSG 2010 - Pours amber and smells of yeast, dark fruit, alcohol, and oddly, a sulfur note. It tastes very sweet and malty with ample dark fruit notes. Medium to full bodied and quite tasty, it works pretty well other than that odd aromatic note I picked up, but is far from my favorite of the style.

Bottle. Murky dark amber color. Aroma of caramel. Taste is similar, very strong and syrupy. Not bad.

Bottled. A dark red beer with a thin beige head - and the label design is weird - should have been turned 90 degrees! The aroma has notes of caramel, alcohol, and malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel and alcohol combined with medium notes of malt.

Bottle 12fl.oz.Clear medium to dark red amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, bread, caramel, alcohol, dried fruit, boozy. Flavor is light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, alcohol, caramel, brown sugar, warm alcohol - booze. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20101102]

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of Sean9689. Pours a clear dark amber with a small rough off-white head. Aroma is oxidized dark fruits, brown sugar, yeast and booze. Solid body, dark fruits, candy sugar, a little yeast. Warming alcohol finish - well, let’s just call it boozy. 021110
