Fra flaske spandert av Rune. Delt med ham i WC-veien 24 Apr 17. Gyldenbrun. Høyt tett skum som varer lenge. Litt lacing. Lett fruktaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken lett krydret. Blir litt syrlig etter hvert.

500ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Piney, hoppy aroma, hints of spruce, a touch of orange zest. Taste is bone dry, slightly piney and grassy, bitter hoppy, some spruce, a mineral touch. Stands clearly behind other excellent Crouch Vale Golden Ales.

500ml bottle bought at Queens Head in Chelmsford. Clear golden-brown body, remaining creamy white head. Solid lacing. Very nice looking in the glass. Mild aroma of ripe fruits. Flavoured with slightly roasted caramel and resinous hops. Dry bitter ending. Likable, easy to drink. Shared with Finn (Tromsø 24.04.2017).

Hazy amber color with a tan head. Very hoppy, malty and bready nose. Light sweet and an ok bitterness. Medium body. Unfortunately very flat. Citric hoppy, bready and fruity flavor. Flat carbonation destroyed this one.

Cask at the Wharf. A clear deep golden beer with some white bubbles on top. The aroma is on the fruity side, weak but pleasant. Pine cones, resins and a touch of malts. It’s dry and soft on the palate, quite bitter, with pine cones, grapefruit and some resins. Low on malts. Lasting mostly hoppy finish. Easy drinkable but rather dull. 150301

Cask@Charlies Bar, CPH - golden pour with healthy white head. Aroma and taste is fruity and grassy hoppy, with some lovely orange and lemony accents, slightly floral, clean and fresh on the palate, in such great condition, so easy drinking, could drink loads of this. Lovely stuff!
