Pours amber with an off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of grass, cardamom, pine, nectarine. Flavour starts malty and quite sweet. Long, moderately bitter finish. Hints of English as well as American PA. Have had some less good bottles, some with rather sticky heads. (10/2010) [3.6] Huge white head, massively overcarbonated. Aroma is subdued and the fruit and spice flavours are less distinct. Pleasant enough, but not the beer it was.

Glorious amber-orange hue, slightly cloudy. Effervescent carbonation sustains an impressive inch high head.Huge aroma, full of oranges, grass and peach blossom. Biscuity matiness is detectable behind the massive floral hoppy goodness. This really is magnificent.Taste is dominated by green hoppy bitterness, with sweet malts and floral notes in the background.Body is pretty decent (e.g., not watery like some common APA’s), but the carbonation is pretty high.Damn, this is an excellent example of the style, a really great summer beer too.

Bottle. Clear golden with no head. Lovely aroma: initially floral hops with a lot more complexity developing as beer warmed - malty / biscuity, maybe even hints of chocolate with some slightly spicy hints. Medium body and carbonation. Flavour is primarily a pleasant floral hoppiness with a reasonable amount of complexity including some malty sweetness and a toffee / bisucuity taste with hints of orange. Pleasant somewhat bitter finish. Overall a very drinkable beer.

I found the hops profile to be a bit strange and certainly didn’t remind me of the Cascade hops I am used to from N. America. More like continental hops. A bit sharp with out citrus flavors. Body is ok, but unblanced. Finish is moderatley bitter. Least fav from these guys.
