Bottled@The Hobbit Tasting. Golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is citrus, sweet malts, some bready and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is quite crispy biscuity and bready malts along with some slight toffee and mild nectary and floral notes to it. A bit earthy notes in the finish too.

Interesting hop, a little melon and a little orchard fruit but not really either. There is a light hop character and s veneer of balancing pale malt.

Cloudy amber beer, decent white head. Fairly neutral palate, a little crispy. Mild creamy malt. Mild hop. Fresh citrus. Well balanced in it’s mildness! Decent but could do with more ooomph!

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, grass, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of matl, caramel, spices, and grass, leading to a very bitter finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of bluebetty. Pours a clear golden with a small white head. The nose has hops indeed - but reminds me more of British hops actually. Medium body, malt and fruit with a dry and hoppy finish. More English than American. 021110

From a 330ml bottle on 29/1/2010. Has nice spicy/grassy aroma. In the mouth, some pleasant malt notes are evident, and it has a refreshing citrus tinged bitterness which lingers for quite a while. Definitely tastes a lot bigger than 4.5%. Rather a nice drop.
