Draft @ flying saucer. Gold. Fairly sweet but not all that well done. Bit of hops to finish.

Can. Golden color with a really big quickly disappearing head. Aroma was weak, watery, like old monster brand beer. Taste was bitter in an unpleasant way. Taste of corn and other undesirables.

Notes from August 2009 Watching the Battle 360 series on the History Channel. Choice seems appropriate enough. :) The can must have taken a hit while shuffling through the fridge... we have a bleeder. Pils glass pour, glass just wide enough to act as a supporting hand & drip tray all in one. A thick, muggy, honey amber that is not the ditsy blonde I payed upfront for. She has a little grit in her teeth too. Head isn't pretty: a scabby, mushy oatmeal color & consistency, with specks of black pepper/sediment/lice/whatever. Smell is honey-sweet malt, peppery yeast, mild bittergreen hops, sweat & turning fruit. Too subtle here. Taste is upfront with dough & soft fruit. Very, very mild grassy & sweet floral hops, even maybe a little like golden tea. Toasted finish. A touch buttery, with cask-ish carbonation. A fake blonde, but still a lot of fun. :)

(Tap) slightly hazy, bright yellow colour with a small white head; aroma of grain, balanced flavour with a light, long bitter finish

12 oz can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a clear pale gold color with a white head and good retention. Almost no lacing. As expected, has a bready aroma. Flavors of bready and pale malts and a little sweet. Lightly crisp mouthfeel. Soft body. Simple profile but it works. Very clean and smooth with no bitterness. Easily repeatable.

Okay modest head and slight fog in the yellow. Aroma is slight soir funk over usual lager notes. Refreshing grain flavour, some cereal. Simple and that’s about it.

Can: Slightly hazy, yellow-gold with a thin white head. Barley malt, yeast aroma. Lemon/honey, grain malt taste. Creamy...in fact, it comes across like a cream ale.... A little watery, but OK.

700th US rating. Pours a hazy straw from a can, doughy hoppy aroma. Some lemon flavor, a little throwup. Not so good.

Can. Lactic biscuit malt and light straw aroma. Pale yellow with moderate head. Moderately sweet biscuit malt and mildly bitter straw flavor. Okay body. Decent.
