Messy, and frankly old.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma is a mix of tropical fruits, earthy and resinous hops, and caramel malt. Flavour brings out tropical fruits, booze, resinous hops, and a little caramel. Fruity and boozy; it's not terribly well-integrated, but it's quite drinkable. Solid.

Bottle at home, thanks to Wingmanwillis for hoiking this one back, 27/05/14. Murky orange amber with a well appointed off white covering that settles in for the night. Nose is dank hop tones, bitter citrics, grapefruit, bitter orange, light mineral tones, bitter tropicals. Taste comprises bitter orange marmalade - kind of on the turn, dank hoppage, sticky pine, caramel malt, tarte apricot, bitter grapefruit, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. This one grew on me, I wasn’t too taken at first but it proved to a be a half decent dank tropicana fuelled DIPA but a good few notches short of a great.
