Bottle at home. Aroma is roasted malt, smoke, dark bread, chocolate, some liquorice and a touch of salty seaweed. Flavour is above moderate sweet, a bit salty and above moderate bitter. Body is medium. Enjoyable stuff, I dig the smoke and touch of salt.

Bottle. Almost black. Beechwood in the malty, bready aroma. Malty yet dry flavor, roast, lots of smoke, hint of salt. Very nice brew.

Clear dark brown beer, small dense creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: bit soapy, pretty oxidized, port, dried fruits, caramel, some alcohol, little herbal. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of chocolate, slightly sweet, bitter roast, bit oxidized, caramel. Aftertaste: dried fruits, chocolate, bitter, oxidized, port notes, coffee, nice one!

Bottle. Opaque deep brown. Decent beige head. Well lacing. Nose: dark malts, roast, coffee, smoke, dates & raisins, some pepper & ash. Medium minus body. The taste is relatively dry. Roasty, tobacco, coffee, just a hint of smoke. Well-hopped. This one is good.

Interesting. Fairly salty, some sort of herbal aspect which will be the laverbread. Bit creamy, nice and bitter, dry and roasty. Not bad.

Bottle shared at home. Black with light tan head. Deep roasted chocolate malts, ink, seaweed apparently, licorice, charcoal. Light sweet, light bitter. Medium body, light malty feel but a bit watery in the sense of aroma’s. Is this umami? Help me lord.
