De Get In The Sea is een samenwerking tussen vier brouwerijen: Jopen, Grateful Deaf Brewery, The Waen Brewery en Hopcraft Brewing. Het is een Engelse Porter met gedroogde sinaasappel, zeewier en gerookt mout. Dit biertje is geinspireerd door "Laverbread", een traditioneel Welsh gerecht gemaakt van zeewier.

Black with thin head. Aroma has lots of dark malts. Flavour is similar but also a bit spicy. Full flavoured and full bodied.

Bottle at Gekke Geit. Very dark brown with dark beige head. Licorice, light seaweed, nuts, dust, light herbs, grass, coffee, cocoa, soft cardboard. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - Black pour with beige head. Dark malty with some roasted and sweet malty notes, smoked charred burnt notes, some soy, dark malty into the close.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is dense dark malty and roasted. Bitter, roasted and dark malty. Herbal. Mild yeasty. Hard burned. Dark roasted malty finish.

Draft. A dark brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, bread, chocolate, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, hops, chocolate, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle, bb 19.09.2018 (thanks fatphil!). Pours dark brown with brownish head. Aroma is smoke, roast, malt, some spicy notes. Flavor is sweet and bitter, chocolate, roast, malt, licorice. Overall: good.

Tap at Arendsnest, 21st December 16. Pours black, small head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate. Taste is smooth, dark chocolate, good porter

Towering greige head, stable and lacey, over deep dark cola-coloured beer. Smoked ham, Rauchmalz, mineral, dark and sweet malts. Bitterish to bitter, quite dry (just a malty sweetness in the background), again mineral, but not salty. Smoked, but less than the nose suggested; mildly roasted. Well-bodied, slick to viscous, hint at alcoholwarming; good carbonation. Maybe not overcomplex, but at least a nice balance. Like it!

donkerbruin tot zwart met rode gloed en bruine kraag. aroma van chocolade, moutig, lichte rookmout. jazeker de rookmout komt er goed door in de smaak, ook iets van zout of zo, vreemde/unieke en best aardige smaken, wel ÊÊn om niet al te snel op te drinken, chocolade, zacht/glad, matige body, matig bitter, wat zoethout maar verder ok
