De Get In The Sea is een samenwerking tussen vier brouwerijen: Jopen, Grateful Deaf Brewery, The Waen Brewery en Hopcraft Brewing. Het is een Engelse Porter met gedroogde sinaasappel, zeewier en gerookt mout. Dit biertje is geinspireerd door "Laverbread", een traditioneel Welsh gerecht gemaakt van zeewier.

Bottle from Biernavigatie, medium sample. Dark color, medium frothy head. Aroma of coffee, grainy malts, bit cookie, roast. Malty bitterness in taste, slight sweet, grainy, biscuit. Interesting and flavorful.

Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of roast, caramel, fudge, overripe dark fruits, licorice and doughy notes. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ home. Dark brown to black color, average to medium sized light brown head. Aroma is malts, liquorice, some roast, light smoke. Tastes about the same. Malts, some roast, liquorice lightly, light smoke, malt bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Decent beer.

33cl Bottle from Jopen Proeflokaal Waarderpolder. Almost black colour, beige head. Aroma of liquorice, sweet, candy, light salty and smokey, roasted malts. Flavour is medium sweet, light salty, light smokey, salty liquorice, some candy, brown malts, bitter finish. Light bodied. OK, expected more of this four - way collab.
