Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is very raspberry forward. Super jammy. Light alcohol notes. Faint malt notes of caramel and toffee. Medium light woody, herbal hop note. Pours a dark amber color with auburn hues and a medium sized, thick, creamy, tan head that exhibits nice retention as slowly recedes to a thin film that lingers on the edges. medium light lacing and smallish legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a medium light caramel and toffee note. Lots of raspberry flavor but as that fades away you are left with a strong bitterness. Woody, herbal, earthy hop notes dominate the finish. Lingering berry seeds, bitterness and hints of alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, the aroma of this beer is dominated by raspberries, but the flavor is still super bitter and hoppy. The lingering hop notes and bitterness seem to accentuate the seed notes from the raspberries in a not great way.
