12 oz. can. Pours a clear dark bronze color with a beige head and decent retention. Almost no lacing. Sweet caramel malt aroma. The taste matches the nose. Very clean and smooth caramel flavor, lightly sweet with no bitterness. Medium body and low carbonation. Tasty and infinitely chuggable.

Poured from a can dated 08/21/2015. Aroma is malty with toasted bread as well as light caramel and toffee notes. Some biscuit and cracker with a light nuttiness. Moderate fruit esters of figs, raisins and dates. Pours a cloudy, dark amber color with a medium sized, moderateky thick, tan head that recedes fairly quickly to the edges. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with a strong malt presence. Lots of toasted bread, with lighter cracker, biscuit, caramel and faint nuts. Medium light bitterness. Esters are lighter than in the aroma but along the same profile. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Medium astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer but not a great marzen. A weird astringent bitterness in the finish with too much esters.
