On tap at the brewery. Aroma has a medium light malt note with some cracker and biscuit with some lighter toasted bread nots and hints of caramel. Moderate hop notes with a lot of grapefruit, resin and other citrus with lighter pine notes. Pours a fairly clear, golden orange with a small, thick, white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with some toasted bread, crackers and biscuits. Light caramel notes. Moderate bitterness. Some medium high hop notes of grapefruit and resin. Light notes of other citrus and pine with hints of tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice pale ale and very reminiscent of American versions of the style. Malt is well balanced and not too sweet or strong allowing the nice hop character to show through.
