Cask at the Hampden Arms, Hampden, 17/04/16. Pale golden blonde with a moderate off white covering. Nose is light floral notes, grain, touch of citric peel, straw. Taste comprises light caramel, bready notes, lemon tingle, grass, floral trail. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings. Underwhelming golde.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a thin head. Nose - honey and malt bag. Taste - golden with a tangy orange but generally too sweet. Palate - light bodied with a tangy texture and a finish that could be cleaner. Overall - doesn’t do very much.

Cask at the Eldon Arms, Reading. Clear gold with a thin white head. Bit of sulphur. Bit of caramel. Bit inoffensive and bland. Meh.

Straw-yellow in colour with a very thin head. This is a hoppy ale with a dry hop texture and aftertaste.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. The nose is buttery with some citric hops. A little thin-bodied, dry fruitiness and again some diacetyl. Ends dry, yeasty and lightly astringent. 170910
