Mmm. Tastes like I'm out in public with a painted green face and my hair in buns.

Bottle, from historic notes. Source was a Bargain Booze somewhere, didn't note which one. Poured pale gold with a small just off-white head. Aroma of malt, hop, caramel, fruit and flowers. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle, but my bottle looked a little different than the photo here. It is a great looking beer, gold color, big, long lasting white foam on top. After that, there is not so much here. Some mild malt, but I didn’t pick up the wheat at all. Very light palate, not much flavor, actually reminded me of a kolsch. It is drinkable, nothing wrong with it, but perhaps past its prime, but not much here to enjoy.

Bottle from B&M Bargains, Barrow-in-Furness. Golden with a thin head. Hoppy with a pleasant pale ale light citrus fruit aroma, texture and taste which is slightly dry. Fizzes somewhat in the palate.

Bottle from B&M Bargains; hazy golden amber pour with massive bubbly off white head, aroma is a bit skunky, taste has malts and traces of fruit.

Huge, dense & fine head, as yellowish whipped eggwhite, stable, over clear orange-copper beer, lively carbonated. Honey, fresh herbs and parsley, slightly caramel nose. Again honey and indeed, herbs. Faintly fruity, some exotic fruit (no doubt the hops, but nowhere comparable to APA, IPA, etc.) Raspberry flowers. Very light body, highlighting the carbonation even more. Creamy feel from the head; little in the matter of palate. Palate - the Achilles’ heel of English brewers. Still, pleasing ale.

Off metallic aroma. Slightly hazy from a rather large bottle by american standards. Good cutting co2 from the start. Initial taste is fairly old lager effects. Taste grows on ya. Even the smell gets better after you start sipping it, goes somewhat vanilla on the olfactory. Remains pretty refreshing as the session comes close to the finish. Low alky is smooth throughout. Morphs from OK to pretty decent in the end.

Pour is a hazy yellow with an average white head. Aroma is a bit fruity with a herbal hop. Flavor is a super dry malt with a little chalkiness toward the end. After the swallow not much is happening. Some more dry malt but kind of flavorless. It’s ok but I wish it was not so dry.
