slightly cloudy golden, small white head. sweet and belgian caramelly like aroma. a little grassy, a little bitter. flavor is caramelly sweet, very metallic, ends bitter. a little watery on the palate. pretty strange brew, sweet caramelly with pilsner stuff too. aroma is a little against it, as the combination of aroma and taste could become cloying. bitterness in the end saves the day, even though it seems to be a little metallic. carbonation is quite agressive.

Medium, dense white head over darker golden, clear beer. Heavy chalk/gouache nose, later flowery-grassy, but dull. Bit of old nuts, hazelnut oil. Oxydized pale malts, going over in a grassy flavour. Very fade, but quite fizzy, even point of CO²-acidity. Empty palate. Dull, dull beer, probably past its BBd, which is illisibly printed.

Bottled, 0.75cl, champagne-cork. A clear, yellow beer with a nice white head. Sour-sweet, milky aroma with citrus, fruit and grain as well. The flavor is sour-sweet as well, with hay, malt, grain and a milky touch. Medium body. A quite nice and interesting ale giving a distinct impression that it is a farmhouse ale. (061229)

(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy golden with a tall, dense shaving foam style head. Somewhat tart malt aroma. Medium body with a distinct, citrusy tartness. No bitterness. Not really a Pale Lager aye? And not really very nice. 151206
