July 2011: 750 ml green "champagne" bottle, as La Choulette Bière du Nord La Triboulette Bière Blonde Artisanale, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 5%. Golden colour, pours rather fizzy, moderate white head. Malty and grainy aroma. Malty and slightly nutty flavour, a hint of pepper in the aftertaste. Not much hops. Drinkable but boring, not very "artisanale" in my book.

330ml bottle from Choulette Experience, Hordain. No rabbit piss or rotten cabbage this time. But it does have a slightly aged taste, 3-4 years old perhaps. Up-rate but not by much.
30th Oct 2014: 25cl bottle from Racine, Cassel. Bizarre rabbit piss aroma, bizarre off-taste like rotten cabbage with sweetcorn and a hint of vanilla. An appealing sweetness does creep in but it’s tarnished by something altogether not right. A muddled taste.

Bottle shared in a car in Belgium. Pours perfectly clear honey-yellow with a moderate, white foam head. Cereal and honey in the nose. Light sweet flavor with dry, bready and crackery pale malts, hints of metal and toasted hay. Light in body with average carbonation. Clean but dull on the finish with more dry cereal, crackers, light metal, paper and hay. Weak.

bottle from Maison de la Bière Reims. Golden yellow, small white head. Aroma of malt. Malty, slightly grainy, very shy, faint touch of hops in the distance, woody, with cardboard. No glory.

Bottle, thanks to Leighton, shared in the comfort of J98 LLY on the aborted trip to De Dolle, 23/03/13. Clear pale golden with a decent sized frothy white head. Nose is cereal, grain, honey, light spice, touch floral. Taste comprises corn, citrus, grass, cereals, hint of banana, yeast, light pear drops. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry in the finish. Pretty average stuff.

Hazy gold beer with a frothy white head. Soft palate with a little carbonation buzz near the finish. Creamy and frothy with just a touch of citrus. Nice palate but not huge on flavour. Refreshing though!
