A smoked marshmallow bock beer brewed in collaboration with Brewdog bar Aberdeen. A Bock beer is a lager fermented ,low hopped, malty, dark beer and a Rauchbeir is a beer brewed with beech wood, smoked malt which has been kilned in Bamberg, Germany. This beer is a combination of those two styles and we have added Marshmallow to the mix to make this beer even more unique. Think of toasted marshmallows on the campfire in a beer. This one is a bit special.

On keg at Brewdog Lothian Road. Appearance - bright copper and clear. Proportionate off white head. Nose - oh, smoke and confectionery. Taste - campfire, toasted marshmallow for sure. Rocky Road and brown bread. Palate - medium bodied, sweet and roasty middle and finish. Overall - love this!

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours lightly hazy deep orange - amber with a sturdy white head. The aroma is sweet, intoxicating, vanilla, gooey toasted marshmallow, fluff, raspberry jelly, Turkish delight, toasty vibes and smoked ham. The taste is bitter - sweet upfront, sweet, sticky, vanilla cake frosting, toasted marshmallow, sweet florals, Turkish delight again, rapsberry jelly, smoked pineapple, then it dries up and you get toasty vibes, smoked malt, toasted oak, nip of spice and alcohol. Medium body and average, tight carbonation. Unique that's for sure. Certainly not a combo I've experienced to date. Novel.

Keg at BrewDog Camden. Pours clear dark gold with a slim white head. Aroma: smoked malt, caramel, burnt toffee, marshmallow. Taste: light sweet & bitter, smoked malts, ash, then the marshmallow comes through. It's just a very odd combo. Medium body with low carbonation.

Keg at Brewdog Tower Hill. A mostly clear burnt orange amber coloured pour with a a fine off white head. Aroma is odd floral, Turkish delight, caramel, toffee, marshmallow. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, layered malts, toast, toffee, caramel, fluff, vanilla, perfume floral notes. Pretty odd, but works. Longrass. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, fine, moderate carbonation. Good.
