Bottle at a restaurant in Kos, Greece. Brewed at Olympic Brewery? Fine German-style Pilsner. Grainy malt with straw and noble hops. Good bitter finish.

Tap at Eschenheimer Turm, Frankfurt am Main. Clear golden coloured brew with an dry bitter taste with hints of lemon and a bit of caramel. Actually drunk this beer next to Eschenheimer Turm which features the logo.

Disfrutando de esta pilsner fresquita de acampada bajo las estrellas y los pinos silvestres... Catada en un vaso común, color dorado claro, limpia, corona de espuma blanca resistente. Aroma tenue a malta y cereal, aquí la brisa corre, lo cual no ayuda a retener los aromas en el olfato, pero sin duda se trata de una fragancia discreta, a laguer más o menos bien hecha. Entra ligera, muy refrescante, dulzor medio bajo, amargor medio, muy comedida en sus matices, pero equilibrada. Notas de malta, un recuerdo de hierba seca, cereal...Tan sencilla como bebible, discreta pero rica.

50cl bottle. As Kaiser Pilsner. Poured clear and golden in color. Sweet malty flavors, some wort as well. Not much in aroma to write about.

Bottled (thanks OH6MIL!). Yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is bready, some grainy, mild herbal, watery and earthy tones. Flavour is herbal, grassy, some bready and grainy elements with mild earth to it as well.

Henninger KaiserPilsner, Flasche von REWE, Frankfurt-Nied. - Helles Goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase schlanke, blaß säuerliche zitronige Hopfung. - Antrunk schlank und säuerlich-zitronig hopfenherb. Im Hintergrund schwaches helles Malz, leicht plastikartig, und ein Restchen von Malzsüße. Gut rezent, schlank, schön trocken. Im Abgang schlanke, strenge Bittere mit Zitronenschale. - Ein Industriepils halt, nur mit Hopfenextrakt gehopft und auch sonst recht sparsam im Geschmack, dennoch trinkbar; schlanker und trockener als andere. Schon bald wird es Geschichte sein. (15.10.2022.)
