Can from shop in olympiaki akti. Disappointing, even more so when I discover it’s a German beer. It’s finer you’re not intentionally tasting it but otherwise, sticky metallic beer. Re-rated. Can from shop in Larissa. Grapefruit & cheap lager tastes. 1.7 to 1.5.

From old tasting notes. Bright brassy gold color. Big creamy white head. Small bubbles cascade in a Center column. Light malty hop bouquet. Clean crisp cracker malt flavor. Nice mild hop character appears in finish. A pleasant all around pils.

Draught as Kaiser Pilsner @Liosporos Jazz Café, Athens. Clear pale golden colour, small frothy white head, receding slowly, light lacing. Aroma sweet malts, grain, hay. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, grain, grass. Sweetbitter aftertaste, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, decent. Rated 28/9/16. Bottle 50cl. has similar quality. Note: imho Kaiser Pilsner should be categorized as a Greek beer.

500 ml bottle, as Kaiser Pilsner, from a supermarket in Rhodos, Greece. Brewed by Henninger. ABV is 5%. Clear pale golden colour, large white head. Fairly fresh aroma, grassy notes. Crisp and clean flavour, fairly dry, moderate hops. Nothing exceptional here, but a well made pilsener it is.

Bottle, as Kaiser Pilsner in Greece. A pleasant surprise after all the sweet Greek lagers: This one is only a bit sweet on the palate, but not in taste. Probably calls itself pilsner because of that, although it’s not much of one. Medium to low bitterness, low aroma and taste, a bit watery. Low but noticeable carbonation.

bottle from Heinrichs 3000 Kornwestheim. Pale yellow, tall white head. Cardboardy hoppy aroma. Shy malty base, some hops with hints of cardboard and dust. Thin and quite boring. Poor Kaiser.
