Hard Ginger Beer. A traditional style ginger beer, made with a malt base, lashings of fresh ginger root, a touch of organic cane sugar, lemon juice & yeast… that's it. Our ginger has a distinctly 'beery' taste without the bitterness of hops. Creating a refreshing, malty spiced brew

Bottle. Pours a very light golden, with a very small and quickly disappearing head. Aroma is ginger and honey. Flavour is sweetly of sugar, sweet lemon and a very light malt, with a massive pepper taste building up. Finish is almost all about pepper, with a note of not very pleasant sweetly malt and sugars. Sadly the “distinctly adult taste” is not adding anything for this brew, making it inferior both as a ginger and as a beer.

0.5l bottle @ Henrik, Bergen shared with ClubGonzo. It pours a near clear pale golden body with a small somewhat sidesticking just off-white head. Aroma is really weird! It smells just like freshly grained ginger does! Damn... It also has some strange notes of tarmac and freshly cut grass. How is this stuff gonna taste? It's lively carbonated, really thin bodied and the mouthfeel is thin and watery. Flavor vise this is just fresh ginger mixed with lots of water and added some lemon and sugar. Heavy lasting burning peppery-ginger aftertaste. Not much more to say I guess? Strange stuff, and I don't want to taste it again.

50cl bottle. Pours lemon/golden with steady bubbles and no head to speak of. The nose is of intense ginger and not much else. There is more intense ginger on the taste. The palate is medium in structure and texture and incredibly thirst-quenching. Overall, a much better and more balanced beer than competitors in the same style.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer with a dense, white head of moderate size. The aroma has some beer in the background, but it’s the ginger that completely dominates the aroma, it’s just like chopping ginger and taking a deep sniff. Slightly lime-like too. The flavor has the same intense ginger as the aroma, not much else going on. Medium body, quite warming. An intese one, lacking drinkability, but still quite tasteful. 110420

Cask. A hazy golden beer with no head. The aroma has notes of ginger and other spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of ginger and spices, leading to a dry spicy finish. A bit too much for me.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white fluffy head. Aroma is ginger, some mild fruits and nectar. Flavour is burning ginger as well as some slight nectary and mild maltyness. Leaves the burning gingerspicyness for quite a longlasting while. Not that balanced.

Bottle as Tesco Finest ginger beer. Clear gold with thin white head. Strong ginger aroma. Bit over carbonated but ginger is really strong. Quite refreshing but maybe a bit too harsh on the ginger finish.
