Hard Ginger Beer. A traditional style ginger beer, made with a malt base, lashings of fresh ginger root, a touch of organic cane sugar, lemon juice & yeast… that's it. Our ginger has a distinctly 'beery' taste without the bitterness of hops. Creating a refreshing, malty spiced brew

Medium white head. Hazy pale yellow body. Strong ginger aroma, sort of like pickled ginger, with earthy strawy notes. Dry-sweetish ginger taste with mealy strawy notes. Very hot and spicy mouthfeel, but well within tolerance. Disturbs the taste somewhat, though. Light body. No aftertaste, just stops abruptly. (0.5l bottle, Centra, Oslo.)

500ml bottle, shared with the Mrs, becuase she thinks Crabbies is good... Pours a light straw yellow. Aroma is of strong, dry ginger. Taste is, surprisingly, ginger. Warm, slightly fiery ginger aftertaste.

Light yellow in colour. Strong aroma of ginger. Both taste and smell is all about ginger, maybe with a hint of citrus. The taste is quite strong and spicy, almost with burning spicy aftertaste. Well worth a try if you are fond of ginger, but stay away if you’re not. The low alcohol content is not noticable due to the large amounts of ginger aroma. I guess this beer would be great with some Asian dishes.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 3.8%. Brewed without any hops at all, but with substantial amounts of root ginger. Golden colour, pours quite fizzy, moderate to low head. Aroma of ginger and citrus. The flavour has a distinct ginger burn from start to finish. Definitely not your usual beer, but nice for a change of pace. Feels much stronger than its moderate ABV.

Bottled (K-Kamppi, BB 06/2011)
Yellow color, quicky vanishing white head. Strong aroma of ginger and lemony dish cleanser. Light palate and crisp carbonation. Flavor is very sweet lemony, radler-like, slightly fruity. Finish has burning chili-like effect from ginger. Funny beer, chili radler?!

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 6/1/10. Pale amber in colour with a slight white head. Tasted very much like a ginger beer, heading in the direction of Jamaican in terms of the spicy heat. Alcohol wasn’t very evident, but a great novelty on a very cold day.
