A refreshing and citrusy straw-coloured pale ale with moderate bitterness. Using Eagle hops, grown in Slovenia which are distinctly “American” in character gives aromas of peach, pine and wild flowers.

Cask at Raven, Crewe. Pours a slightly hazy pale straw with sizeable foamy white head and good lacing. There’s an aroma of citrus and floral hops, though not too overpowering. In the mouth there are floral hops against, but most noticeable is a honey based sweetness, along with lemongrass and some biscuit undertones. Finish is fairly dry and citrussy. Not really my cup of tea, but decent.

Hand-pulled half-pint at The Pheasant Inn, Wellington Shropshire on 2nd November 2021. Straw blonde, bright and clear; snow white head. Citrussy front to the nose and taste, floral twist too. Didn't really 'float my boat' and I was glad I only had a half. Scored objectively.
