Golden Ale named after the former naval shore battery overlooking Bathside Bay. Heavily hopped to give satisfying bitterness levels, the floral and grapefruit aroma are dues to the oodles of Cascade hops added at the end of the boil.

Cask @ GBBF, 2011. Pours cloudy golden with a small creamy white head. Smoked and meaty. A bit of grain. Odd infection - but not horrible. Medium bodied.

Cask gravity at Gbbf 2011. Clear gold thick cream head. Some yeast some hop on aroma. Some rubber too. Not good. Despite the big head the conditipn is poor. The rubber is undrinkable. Pretty much horriblesome hop on finish but in a third pint i couldnt drink more than a few millilitres
