Cask at The Plough and Harrow, London. A nut-brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and nuts as well as lighter notes of lemon. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrusy hops, malt, and nuts, leading to a bitter finish.

Cask (Egham Beer Festival - Summer 2010) - Copper/dark amber in colour. Nuts, caramel and dates in the aroma. The taste is tangy and fruity with caramel and raisins detected.

Cask (handpump) @ Market Porter, 9 Stoney Street, Southwark, London, Greater London, England SE1 9AA.Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, caramel, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, citrus - orange, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, hop sweet, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100730]

From cask at The Plough and Harrow. Pours clear and golden dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity: peachy, citrusy and oranges. Sweet fruity hops flavoured. Increasing bitterness into a fruity finish.

Cask, gravity dispensed, at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading at 3.4% ABV. Chestnut in colour with a thin translucent head; sweet earthy malt aroma; medium bodied with weak fruit flavours to start then some dry caramel; light hops to finish with a touch of smoke and stewed vegetables.

Cask handpull at William Morris, JDW, Hammersmith. Copper, lasting beige head. Some malt biscuit some hop on finish. Not bad for a 2.7% boys bitter but lacking something in the middle like some malt on the swallow. Bit acidic on finish too.
