Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dark malt, tart red fruits, Bretty funk, oak, some chocolate, light peat. Flavour is sourish, light sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium, should be fuller for an Imperial Stout. Another sourish and funky Hellegijt (see: Ben Nevis), must be infected but it’s kinda nice. I don’t get much whisky besides a hint of peat, it’s mostly wood barrel notes.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before June 2022, cellared for almost two years. Pitch black with a thin, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty, sourish-fruity and slightly vinous aroma of red berries, red wine, oak, some dark chocolate and a touch of coffee. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty, moderately sour, quite fruity and slightly vinous taste of dark chocolate, coffee, red berries, red wine, oak and some licorice, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, earthy, moderately tart and slightly woody finish. Medium to full body, smooth, slightly creamy, gently effervescent and a bit astringent mouthfeel, average carbonation. I know it's infected but it's so good as well: it's got a lovely balance between the Stout elements and sourish-fruity notes with nice red wine influence. Tasty!

Bottle @ home. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized light brown colored head. Aroma suggests tart-bitter wood hints. Flavor is malts, tart-bitter again, tart, wood. Not good at all imo.
