Cask at Pineapple beer fest. Translucent pale gold colour with small white head which soon fades. Aroma is a bit lemony and a bit funky/sour. Taste is bit malty, actually tastes a bit like a bitter shandy. Slight bitter lemon finish. Not bad, not amazing. --- Beer merged from original tick of Bellowhead Hedonism on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Handpull cask at the Haymakers, Cambridge. Mid-gold, clear. Slight fruity, tea-y, malty aroma. Melon, bergamot... low volume but pleasant. Sweet with a bitter orange peel note. Flat oily body. Has promise but is only a runof the mill golden really. Shame as I love Bellowhead. Drinkable but average.

Gravity dispense at Ealing BF, 06/07/16. Clear golden blonde with a decent off White head. Nose is tangerine, straw, orange peel, light bready notes. Taste comprises tangerine, fresh grass, apricot, light bread dough, pineapple, airy malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a juicy hop tingle. Decent golde fayre.

Cask handpump at The Queens Head, Chelmsford. A beer named after a great band, and a great album, though the beer doesn’t quite deliver the maximized net pleasure a hedonist strives to achieve! It’s a light, summery golden ale, fruity and low in carbonation. Not bad overall.
