Bunker Dunkel is brewed in the German tradition, “Dunkel” meaning Dark. This elegant lager expresses notes of pumpernickel bread supported by light nuttiness and dark dried fruit. Light and balanced, this beer finishes dry and surprisingly quenching. A dark beer for those who don’t like dark beer!

Pours a clean, light brown-copper colour with a creamy-frothy head that stays quite a while with the lively, tiny bubble carbonation and good lacing left. Toasted, cereal malt aromas with some caramel and a touch of apples. Good maltiness in the taste as well with some roastiness, taostiness, caramel, nuttiness and apple-herbal hoppiness in the finish. A very fresh, fine Dunkel that is crisp, refreshing and goes down very nicely.
