Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Copper with a thin head. Has a crispness above its maltiness, with the latter evident in its nose. Good session ale with not a particularly high bitterness.

Cask ale by hand-pump, half pint at the brewpub in Derby. Clear copper body, missing head, spotty lacing. Mild malt-fruity nose. Flavours of leafy hops, earthy malts and toffee. Rounded bitter finish. Fits the style (20.02.2015).

A clear pint with a crisp, bitter flavour with a nutty aroma and aftertaste.

Cask@Market Porter, London. Amber colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is nutty, caramelly, mildly wooden and floral. Flavour is similar, but also having some toasted and mildly rubbery way (rubber not in a that bad way).

From cask at Brunswick Inn. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mildmalty. Light fruity, malty and bitter flavoured. A bit on the citrusy side. Ends dry and malty.

Cask (handpump) @ Brunswick Inn, 1 Railway Terrace, Derby, Derbyshire England DE1 2RU.Clear medium amber color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, roasted. Flavor is moderate strawberry sweet and light bitter with a average duration, vomit bitter notes. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100117]

Cask at the Brunswick Inn, Derby A deep golden pint with an off-white head; earthy, malty aroma; a sweet fruity taste with a bitter edge; and a long dry aftertate; an excellent bitter.

Cask at The Lower Red Lion St Albans 28 Sep 2006. Golden red coloured. A small white head. Strong fruity and malty flavour - almost burned. Sweet bitter finish.
